That's right, we are adding another crew member sometime in February. John is thrilled to be a big brother and is showing (maybe too much?) interest in how exactly the baby is going to get out. This mornings quote was 'the baby will pop out like an egg!' Oh boy...

Birthday, Part 2

So sorry for the long wait for these!

We celebrated John and Owen's birthday on the Sunday after their actual birthday. I think we are really perfecting this 'kid' birthday thing!


Jed and Mandy outdid themselves yet again with the cake!

After cake we did the Pinata that Grandma Brooks and Grandpa Doug got for the boys. Thank goodness Greta and Spencer were there with their strong arms, I'm not sure the boys could've done it themselves :) They were surprisingly good at taking turns with the baseball bat, even Julian got a chance at the end!

We got to celebrate part 1 of John's 3rd birthday with Grandma and Grandpa, what fun! John especially liked the decorations all over the house, oh, and the cupcakes :)

Happy Birthday Julian!

Julian is 1!!! I can't believe that my sweet little nephew Baby J (we are totally going to have to get a new name for him!) is 1! We were able to be in Rockford for a little party for him over the weekend, we missed Owens 1st birthday (I was a little busy that day) so I was glad to make this one!

Bubby Owen!!!

This is John, sound asleep with the map on his lap- he was looking to see Bubby Owen's house! He couldn't wait to get there, especially after many many days in the van.
After a day at Owen's house though, the two boys were found here

side by side in the time-out-chairs many times... these two just get so excited to be together! Oh, John and Owen... I can't wait to see what the future holds for you guys, the Birthday Buddies!
