Well, we were walking around Key West and found a real Kapok Tree! John had so much fun climbing all over it and exploring, and what a great way to make the book more real!

I just checked out Jed's blog. There are certainly two extremes-Abby & John in shorts - Owen & Mandy in boots and winter coats. So much SNOW!! Let's hear it for snow days in the teaching profession!
