Today it is SO hot here! The house has AC so we are nice and cool inside, but we went out to play and it was almost unbearable with no shade in the backyard. We don't have a pool so I improvised and found an empty Rubbermaid bin to fill with water. John had so much fun splashing around in it! I moved it from the driveway in the direct sun to on the deck under a big umbrella, but I didn't think about the color of the deck! John crawled out from the shade and started screaming, he burned his little hands and knees! He got away from me one other time and sat down- burned his buns!!! Poor guy. We came inside and had a nice cold drink of water, and now he's happy again.
